About Me
After a few decades in Document & Data Control and Software Quality Assurance, I struck out on my own as an Independent Software Developer. Sadly, the life of a one-man development house proved more difficult than I'd imagined. Though I kept the lights on for a good stretch, this past pandemic year has made it clear to me that it's time to close up shop.
When Google announced their Data Analytics Certificate Program, it provided me with an avenue into a new area of interest. I imagine I'm like a lot of people who've grown frustrated over the years with hearing competing factual claims but without the ability to determine the underlying truth. Data Analysis gives me the tools to find that truth or at least to get closer to it.
As for me personally, I'm hard working and conscientious. I get along well with other people,
though I'm very much an introvert and it can take me a while to feel truly comfortable in a group.
I've worked in and around tech for most of my career, but this is a change in focus that
finds me looking for an entry level position. I'm middle-aged, but young at heart.
